I'm probably just getting my hopes up. My period is 6 days late. But all my tests are negative. I tested on the day of missed period, 3 days late, and 5 days late. All negative.
I'm guessing for me its one of 2 things. Either im pregnant with false negatives. OR my cyle is off due to stopping birth control. I was only on it regularly for about 4 months. But I stopped taking BC over a month ago. And it did throw my last cycle off and gave me an early period. I've read that it can take a few months for my cycle to regulate again. So I'm guessing thats all it is for me... And I'm just getting my hopes up too early.
I do feel like im just starting the TTC journey I wasnt going to rush it or expect anything this early. But of course I do hope and wish for a baby so this late or delayed period has me thinking of all the what ifs!!!🙏🏽 Anyone have similar experience getting off BC? Is it even possible to get pregnant that fast?
UPDATE: Started my period 12 days late 🙃

I got off birth control (mini pill) the week before I expected my period but my period never came. About 6 weeks later (after still no period) I had a positive pregnancy test (all tests before that were negative, including the week before). It ended up being a chemical pregnancy and my cycle seems to have returned to normal since that.

Definitely seems related to coming off birth control.
Did you try tracking ovulation? Typically, when your period does not come as expected, you ovulated late. Ovulating late pushes your period back the same number of days (ex: if you ovulate a week later than normal, your period is due a week later than normal). Basically, when your period is due is directly related to ovulation. It comes 12-14 days afterwards.
As long as you BD every 2-3 days throughout your cycle, you have a chance

@briandjuan,
gotcha!
With my daughter, I stopped birth control and got pregnant 2 months later! So you never know!
I like using test strips just to learn more about my cycle. I never stress out about them. Mostly, I just find them interesting

More than likely your body trying to balance hormones back out. 6 days late you’d have a positive by now
