Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 244 Preview: Kenjaku's Escape Plan (2024)

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244 is going to be one of the most exciting chapters of this story, especially because of what happened towards the end of the last chapter. Recently, the series has been focusing on the fight between Takaba and Kenjaku and it has certainly been an intriguing event.

While not exactly a fight that said the world the alight, it was filled with interesting events and, the most interesting part came towards the very end, when, thanks to Takaba's involvement, Yuta was given the perfect opportunity to sneak up on Kenjaku and use his sword to slice his head right off. Fans know that Kenjaku is one of the major antagonists in the entire story and his survival hinges on JJK chapter 244, which is what makes it so special.

Kenjaku Leaves Suguru's Body

The first things that fans should expect from JJK chapter 244 is Kenjaku leaving the head of Suguru. Fans know that Kenjaku is simply a brain who takes control of various corpses and then gains access to all their abilities, as well as their life events and memories as well. Kenjaku then essentially wears the skin of this person and that is how he has managed to stay alive for a thousand years. Will Kenjaku Survive In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244?

The question of whether Kenjaku will survive or not is a very difficult one to answer because the author certainly has opened the door for both possibilities. Ideally, one would completely expect Kenjaku to survive this situation, given that it is too early in the story for him to fall. However, the only thing that casts a doubt on whether he will survive or not is the fact that Kenjaku himself made it seem like he was going to die. When he was cut by Yuta, Kenjaku mentioned that it is a shame that he had to bow out before the finale and this line clearly implies that Kenjaku feels like he has finally lost and that he won't be able to fulfill his goals by himself.

What's more, this is further strengthened by the statement that he made shortly afterward, when he said his will is going to be inherited, which means that he believes that someone else will carry out his dreams and that this someone will see to it that his goals are finally fulfilled. The simple interpretation of this statement is that Kenjaku believes that he will likely die here and that is certainly very interesting. Whether or not Kenjaku will die will definitely be tackled in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244 and fans are incredibly excited to see that. If Kenjaku does survive, then he would need a plan in order to escape from Yuta, and, fans shouldn't put that beyond him, given that a character as smart as him would definitely have a bunch of contingency plans in place for a disaster such as this one.

Kenjaku's Next Plan

In case the author wants Kenjaku to survive this ordeal, then, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244 will most definitely showcase Kenjaku using a cursed technique to try to get away from Yuta. On his own, he cannot escape the eye of Yuta, who fans know is one of the strongest sorcerers alive right now.

Yuta simply has to stop the brain with cursed energy in order to kill it and, if he manages to do that, Kenjaku will cease to exist. To prevent that from happening, Kenjaku will surely have to rely on a cursed technique that he might have prepared for a situation just like this one. Using this cursed technique, he could be transported to a different location. He would then have to look for a newer body to take over and this is going to be extremely interesting, given that the most prominent figure who recently died in JJK is none other than Gojo.

If Kenjaku manages to teleport near the location of Gojo, then it is very likely that he will end up taking over Gojo's body and turn him into a major antagonist in the story. Fans have been expecting Gojo's return for quite a while, however, hardly anyone believed that Kenjaku would take over his body and bring him back as an evil character.

Return To Sukuna Vs Yuji And Higuruma

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 244 could also throw some attention on the fight between Sukuna and Yuji as well as Higuruma once again. Kenjaku and Sukuna are among the strongest antagonists in JJK left right now. Clearly, it is now him against the sorcerers and that is the clash that the fans will be waiting to see in the upcoming chapters of the story. While the fight between Kenjaku and Takaba was certainly interesting, the fact that it interrupted the clash between Sukuna and a team of Yuji and Higuruma certainly annoyed the fans.

All hope hinges on Yuta, along with Yuji and Higuruma in Jujutsu Kaisen right now and fans would absolutely love for them to pull off their goals with success. Regardless of what ends up happening in JJK chapter 244, it is clear for the fans to see that the story is edging closer towards its end and fans can only hope for a proper conclusion to this ongoing arc of the series.
