Hello everyone, welcome to our Walkthrough for On the Same Page Adventure of Harry Potter Hogwarts Mystery. This adventure is available after reaching relationship level 7 with Merula.
It is not time-limited, and during it, you will get to choose if you want to exclusively date Merula and continue leveling the relationship with her. This will also unlock a new dating location, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop.
On top of that, you will receive some amazing unique rewards, and those will definitely be useful during your adventures. If the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts is the one you fancy, this adventure is sure to warm your heart.
Once you start, Merula will ask you to meet her at Flourish and Blotts, so proceed there when you are ready.
[Disclaimer: This adventure is only available for players who reached relationship level 7 with Merula. Each one of the other datable characters has their own unique dating adventure that can be activated by reaching relationship level 7 with them.]
Upon arriving, you will notice the speech bubbles above some of the characters. Tap on those if you are curious to see what they have to say.
Merula will be very happy to see you.
She will be curious to know what you would say to her if the two of you weren’t in public. There are three options to reply with. Other than some minor dialogue differences, this choice won’t significantly impact the story, so feel free to go with the option you prefer.
Still, picking the second option will result in some extra-soppy lines of dialogue.
You’ll be curious to know why Merula wanted to meet with you in Flourish and Blotts.
She will tell you she received a package.
You’ll wonder what it is.
Merula will tell you it is something she’s been trying to find for quite some time.
She will say she wants to open the package together with you.
You’ll notice that she’s struggling to find the appropriate word for it.
You will help her with it.
In a very cute way, she will agree with you.
Moments later, the two of you will decide to open the package together.
Inside, there will be an old book.
You’ll ask Merula about it.
She will tell you that it is supposed to be a limited edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
Unfortunately, the book has definitely seen better days, and the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts won’t be too happy about it.
She’ll tell you she enjoyed those bedtime stories ever since she was very little.
According to her, one can learn some valuable lessons from those tales.
Merula will feel like she’s been scammed.
You won’t be too sure if that really is the case.
You’ll ask Madam Villanelle about the book Merula received.
She will explain how hard it is to find limited edition books.
However, Merula won’t be too happy with that answer.
You’ll try to calm her down, but sadly, she will be set on having her revenge.
You’ll advise her to reconsider her decision.
She will still be visibly upset, so you will suggest figuring out the way to solve the problem together.
Solving Merula’s book problem requires earning five stars within one hour. Three stars are needed to pass.
There are two 5-cost actions tied to your character. Prioritize them if you want to save some energy.
After talking to you, Merula will agree that revenge won’t solve the problem.
She’ll admit there’s a chance she wasn’t scammed.
Perhaps some sort of spell might be able to repair the book… something like the Mending Charm.
Merula will chuckle and say that you are the only person who could have convinced her not to seek revenge.
You’ll suggest repairing the book as soon as possible.
She will say that she wants to fix it together with you.
You’ll like her idea.
Merula will admit that she’d rather spend time repairing the book with you than dueling and trading insults.
She will suggest finding a suitable place for repairing the book.
After thinking about it for a moment, she’ll tell you to meet her at the Boathouse.
Go there when you are ready to continue.
Merula will be happy to see you.
You’ll ask if she is ready to repair the book.
She will smile and say that she was ready the moment you said the word Reparo.
You will receive a compliment from the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts.
She’ll wonder which one of her qualities is your favorite. There are three options to choose from. This choice won’t significantly affect the story, so feel free to pick the option you prefer.
Each option will lead to some lovely lines of dialogue.
Merula will then suggest focusing on repairing the book. After all, there is no telling if she’ll ever be able to find another copy.
You’ll wonder why the book is so important to her.
Sadly, Merula won’t answer your question.
Your previous choice will take effect here.
Thankfully, she will give you a chance to convince her to explain why the book is so important to her.
Convincing Merula to share her story requires earning five stars within three hours. Since all five stars are needed to pass, you should avoid starting this task if you are low on energy.
There are 5-cost actions tied to the book and your character. Focus on those if you want to save some energy.
In the end, you will convince Merula to tell you why the book is so important to her.
She will tell you that the limited edition of The Tales of Beedle the Bard she got is the exact same one her family used to own.
Unfortunately, her old copy of the book was lost when her parents were sent to Azkaban.
You will quickly realize why the book is so important to Merula.
She will wish that a life could be like the stories from the book.
Sadly, her brief moment of joy when she received the package fell apart after realizing that the book is nearly ruined.
You’ll try to cheer her up.
Luckily, you will manage to make Merula smile again.
You’ll suggest repairing the book as soon as possible.
Merula will allow you to be the one to cast the spell.
You’ll take out your wand and prepare to cast the Mending Charm. Trace the wand movement on the screen to do so.
Thankfully, the spell will work, and the book will be as good as new.
Both of you will be happy with the way things played out.
Merula will say there’s something she wants to tell you.
She will pause for a moment, and you’ll notice that she’s looking nervous.
Suddenly, she will say she has to go.
You’ll ask if something is wrong.
Unfortunately, she won’t be able to answer your question. She’ll promise to send an owl soon.
Not long after that, you will receive her owl. As it seems, she wants you to meet her at forest lake, so go there when you are ready.
As soon as you arrive, you will notice that Merula prepared quite a surprise. You’ll ask if she did all of that for you.
She’ll look at you and say that it is a surprise birthday party for Professor Flitwick.
She will then smile and say that she did it for you.
You’ll learn that preparing the surprise wasn’t easy.
You will tell her that you feel like you’re in a fairytale.
Merula will say that she learned a valuable lesson.
You’ll suggest skipping some rocks while she tells you the moral of her story.
Learning Merula’s lesson requires earning five stars within eight hours. All five stars are needed to pass.
There are 5-cost actions tied to Merula and your character. Prioritize those if you want to save some energy.
Merula will admit that you are the only one who treated her with kindness.
She’ll go on and say she realized that not all things in life are bad.
You will smile at her for getting soppy.
Merula will say that you are important to her.
You’ll recall your dates at Hagrid’s garden and the courtyard.
If Merula was your date during some of the previous adventures, you will receive additional lines of dialogue.
The Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts will say that she wants the adventure to continue.
She will tell you that she wants to officially be your girlfriend.
You will then be presented with the MOST IMPORTANT choice of the whole adventure. You’ll be able to choose if you want to exclusively date Merula. If you decide to say yes, you will be able to continue leveling up your relationship with her.
Keep in mind, if you say yes, you will be locked from dating any other character.
If you decide to reject Merula, you will hurt her feelings, and your relationship level will go down to 6.
If Merula is someone you want to date exclusively, it is highly recommended to say yes. [The following part of the Walkthrough will feature the gameplay of the main character choosing to exclusively date Merula.]
You will excitedly say yes.
Merula will be slightly surprised to hear that.
You’ll smile cheekily and say that you’d love nothing more than for her to be your girlfriend.
From now on, the two of you will be known as ‘The Most Powerful Couple at Hogwarts’.
Merula will say that she has a gift for you.
She’ll give you a bracelet inspired by The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
Wearing the bracelet will always remind you of your time together.
You’ll thank her for the lovely gift.
The two of you will hold hands for a moment, and then gently embrace each other.
This will conclude On the Same Page adventure. Hit the Collect button to claim your rewards.
Before leaving the forest lake, you will get the opportunity to remember this special moment.
The special bracelet you received from Merula will be added to your wardrobe.
From now on, you will occasionally receive love letters from Merula.
Reading these letters will grant you some energy.
Also, the portrait of Merula will be placed in your dormitory.
From now on, you will only be able to date Merula. It is worth noting that you won’t lose the progress you had with other characters. However, leveling their relationships won’t be possible unless you decide to break up with Merula. If you ever decide to do so, your relationship level with her will drop down to 1, and you will again be able to date other characters.
Completing this adventure will unlock another dating location, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop.
Dates at Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop work in a similar way as the other dates. You will randomly get three out of several possible parts of the date. Most of these parts will have three options to choose from, and selecting the correct ones will increase your progress bar. At the end of the date, you will receive a number of Romance Points based on your progress bar.
Completing the date will grant you up to 90 Romance Points. This number can further be increased by your Charisma. If you have Charisma level 7, you will receive 270 Romance Points. It is worth noting that you can go on a date at Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop once every 18 hours. You can also spend coins to remove this waiting time.
That was such a sweet adventure. You convinced Merula not to seek revenge and helped her repair the book. The two of you also had a lovely time together at the forest lake. And most importantly, you can now exclusively date the Most Powerful Witch at Hogwarts! This will affect some of the chapters of the main story, as well as some of the adventures and side quests.
