H E L L O Friday! I know that some of you are officially on spring break, so that’s definitely something to celebrate. If you’re having a staycation (or no longer spring break like myself), you should treat yourself to a new swimsuit to wear poolside this spring and summer. I often get this question on Instagram, so today I want to look at wedding guest dresses. Since we are in prime wedding season, I want to highlight my favorite wedding guest dresses and accessories. These are not only great for a wedding, but also any spring event you have coming up. I have included a variety of styles at various price points so that there is something for everyone. Wedding Guest Dresses
I frequently get asked if black is acceptable for a spring/summer wedding. Yes, you can get away with it if it’s a formal wedding, but I would recommend sticking with a dress that is a lighter color tone. If you want to wear something darker, then opt for navy before black. This is why I have a large selection of dresses that are more colorful and more appropriate for a spring wedding. One dress I have styled before that I recommend is this lace dress. It comes in three colors, including black, and would be appropriate for a wedding. Another suggestion I have is shopping Karen Millen wedding guest dresses. For something a little shorter, I love this one shoulder bow midi dress. The style is so elegant and flattering. The green color is perfect for spring, summer and even into fall. If you are looking for a long dress for your next spring event, you will love this pleated maxi dress. You will definitely look like a Grecian goddess in it! Another beautiful pleated dress is this plisse halter midi dress. The halter line is so flattering, and the color is lovely. This floral halter maxi dress is another one on my list, alongsidethis one shoulder floral dress. They’re so elegant and pretty and just exude spring. Another fabulous dress that exudes spring is this floral tiered maxi dress. The style is absolutely gorgeous, and the vibrant colors are perfect for spring and summer.
These wedding guest dresses are gorgeous, but your look is not complete without the right shoes and accessories. If you want to add an element of awe to your look, wear these wrap heeled sandals, this acrylic clutch,and these crystal statement earrings. For a more neutral look, wear these metallic high heel sandals, this mesh crystal clutch or leather clutch andthese crystal drop earrings. I also love wearing a classic tennis bracelet to an event. Just add some lipstick, perfume and the perfect strapless bra. This is the bra I swear by. It is the perfect cut to wear under any dress, plus it is so comfortable. I love the Karen Millen clothes, however- they come from England, and take forever to arrive. As a matter of fact, some pants and a sweater I purchased are here too late to wear this year. People need to be aware the items aren’t going to arrive within the usual time frame.
